Twitter vs Facebook

The use of social media seems to be a part of almost everybody's life now of days. Two of the the biggest social media networking sites are Twitter and Facebook. They both have appealed to different age groups. Facebook now of day has been more appealing to to adults, teens and young adults seem to like twitter more. Facebook also has a huge audience of users at 1.49 billion monthly users compared to twitters only 316 million monthly users. That quit the big difference among users. May have to do with Facebook being around longer than Twitter but maybe not. Facebook's sole usage is to connect with family and friends as well to post pictures and comment on others post. Twitter has become more and more of a news outlet for users. Twitter also is used by many businesses to promote themselves. The reason why people choice either of these networking sites is simply what each one has to offer the user and what the user is looking for.
